Manhunt for the Missing Mage

Revickstead is a popular trade hub in the Northern Province of F'jaln, and it's the first line of defense against the hostile forces of Jult to the North. When the town's powerful mage, Eclan Serfisk, goes missing, all signs point to a kidnapping by the Jultans. Afraid of starting another war, the mayor of Revickstead, Errenine Reffen, calls on the most convenient band of adventurers to set out toward Jult in search of the missing mage.

This Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition one-shot focuses on providing an interesting and engaging preparation period before taking on a quest that pits adventurers against powerful foes and keeps players on their toes. With access to powerful abilities and items, as well as a cast of unique characters full of flavor, players are able to customize their experience to a great extent while still having a carefully curated experience. The module provides written instructions for what happens in various scenarios, but it also leaves many opportunities for the DM to improvise. (Of course, the DM can improvise over anything I've written if they so choose.) Manhunt for the Missing Mage is designed to be able to be inserted into a larger campaign, or to start a new campaign at 5th level.
